Version 5.3 brings new features and improvements to the 5 series -- in particular quite some emphasis has been given to the text capturing technology, which underwent a major rehaul to allow for more accurate results. Other areas of improvement include template editing, task hierarchy management, automatic alarm removal upon meeting dismissal, and "add to journal" capabilities for emails. Version 5.2 is a minor update where the Outlook Edition now comes with the desktop portion of the Windows Mobile ActiveSync Provider, allowing synchronization of icons and day colors with Agendus for Windows Mobile 2.2 and above. Agendus for Windows Mobile 2.2 is scheduled for release within the next 24 to 48 hours.

We are happy to announce the release of a brand new major version of Agendus for Windows: 5.0.

Agendus for Windows version 5 marks a new milestone in the evolution of our personal information management solution for desktop PCs. This new major release makes available to Windows users many of the functionalities initially developed for the Palm OS version of Agendus.

Additionally, a variety of desktop specific enhancements and features have been specially tailored to both the Outlook and Palm Desktop Editions to allow a seamless integration into Outlook 2007 and Palm Desktop 6.2 for Windows Vista respectively.

Among the many new features, of particular interest are the Contact Networking view and related auto-built functionality, additional Month views, Agenda Walkthrough, extensive journaling capabilities, Recent Meeting View, and a fresh, all-new 3D glass look.

This update addresses a few stability issues recently discovered around the Contact History functionality, while bringing in performance improvements implemented in the contact history generation process for increased usability.
