Those who suffer at the hads of Dell fear no longer. There is a new tool on the block. It's called the Dell De-Crapifier. Despite it's somewhat naughty name, this tool is a godsend. Its function? To remove all the unneccessary programs, like trial versions of software, that come pre-installed on your Dell OEM computer. Yes - all the stuff that you spend forever removing one by one can now be uninstalled all at once!

Run Registry Keys:
o “BuildBU” - Part of Dell Alerts which provides customers with an update on latest updates. Can be run manually as needed
o “DVDLauncher” - Belongs to the Cyberlink PowerCinema video viewing software which allows you to play DVDs on insertation. This program is a non-essential process, and is installed for ease of use.
o “ISUSPM Startup” and “ISUSScheduler” - InstallShield Update Service Scheduler. Automatically searches for and performs any updates to the software. Can be run manually.
o “msci” - Used for McAffee Security Center
o “MSKDetectorExe” - Part of McAfee Spamkiller
o “QBReminderFlash” - QuickBooks
o “QuickTime Task” - Tray icon that you can use for quick access to the QuickTime application and additional settings. Can be run manually.
