Sprint TV adds three new premium channels

sprint_nextel.jpgSprint added three premium channels to its Sprint TV service. The additional channels now mean that Sprint TV offers more that 40 video and audio channels of programming to its wireless customers. The new channels offered bring popular short clips, comedy, and Saturday morning cartoons to Sprint TV supported cellphones.

The Blip TV channel will offer clips from 30 seconds to three minutes in length. These clips include shorts, video, spoofs, and animation specially selected from around the world. The Comedy Time channel offers stand-up comedy split up into 6 categories, allowing a viewer to select the stand-up comedy they want when they want it. Saturday Morning TV brings back the days of Saturday morning cartoons. Cartoons from the '60s, '70s, and '80s are featured. Some titles include Mr. Magoo, Rocky & Bullwinkle & Friends, Dick Tracy, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Little Lulu, and Roger Ramjet.

Each channel is available for US$4.95 a month.
