GeekZone has posted this article stating that Yahoo and RIM have formed an agreement allowing Yahoo! services on their Blackberry devices.
Yahoo!Inc. and Research In Motion (RIM) have expanded their alliance to bring Yahoo! services to BlackBerry users around the world, including Yahoo! Go for Mobile, Yahoo! Search, Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! Messenger.
Enhanced integration with Yahoo! Mail accounts for BlackBerry users is part of the plan. BlackBerry users will be able to experience real-time delivery of e-mail messages sent to their Yahoo! Mail accounts and enhanced wireless synchronization of sent and deleted items as well as read/unread message status, providing users with more flexibility to manage their email accounts while on the go. Future development plans will also allow Yahoo! users to wirelessly import, modify and synchronize their Yahoo! Address Book and Yahoo! Calendar entries using their BlackBerry devices.
Instant Messanging is also part of announcement, with Yahoo! and RIM working to expand the reach of Yahoo! Messenger to all BlackBerry users worldwide. Yahoo! Messenger allows consumers to access and manage their friends list, see which friends are online, send and receive instant messages, have multiple conversations at once, participate in online conferences and even send and view emoticons.
