ProductWiki: Amazon's Wiki smaller (or bigger) brother

This entry was posted in the following categories: News, Web services

Right around the same time when Amazon's Wiki launched, another, independent user product-collaboration site launched: ProductWiki.

According to the founders, ProductWiki is a "product information wiki hoping to do for consumer products what Wikipedia has done for the encyclopedia. Our software is in early beta and we are still implementing new features by the minute."

The concept behind ProductWiki is interesting, although the fact that Amazon embraced wiki already might undermine its success. Interested in contributing and helping them out? Here's all you have to do.
