When you are away from the office, what is the one device you use that keeps you most  productive? Is it your Blackberry, your Hipster PDA, maybe even your Moleskine/Mont blanc Pen combo? I can't leave my Treo 650 alone for more than 10 minutes, so my choice is a bit surprising, it's my IBM ThinkPad X30. Yes, it's now 3 years old, but it still gets the job done and draws covetous stares from many a fellow airport passerby (you can look but don't touch!).

As time goes by though, my trusty X30 does sometimes catch me looking at younger, sexier iterations of it's once cutting-edge self. With that in mind, I have a couple of questions for those of you reading this:

1. What is the one device that keeps you the most productive when you are on the go?

2. Any recommendations for a great lap-top that you would consider a worthy upgrade?
