Napster Music Service Update

This entry was posted in the following categories: Entertainment, News

Recently I've been trying out the legal Napster music service. Now depending on how and where youNapster listen to your music, it can be a pretty good deal. I won't delve into the whole pay vs. rent argument, as that's been done a million times over already. What I will say, is that so far I'm enjoying Napster and the new update to their music service that they just released.

The new update has 3 key components to it. First, an updated recommendation engine powers its new "Playlist of the day" feature. That's followed by some improvements to the user interface that Napster subscribers have been clamoring for. Finally, the most important change of all, Napster now provides music in 192Kbps of listening pleasure! This is now matches the bit rate of Yahoo Music, which is another music service that I've tried before. Itunes now trails with a meager128Kbps.
