Amazon: Read books online

This entry was posted in the following categories: News, Web services

Now this is interesting, we all know that Google has been poking and prodding publishers to allow it to amazon make books searchable online. When most of the major publishers and copyright holders weren't exactly willing, Google has decided to move forward and do it anyway!

CNET News has a pretty good interview with Jeff Bezos, where he stresses that he has the "permission and cooperation of the publishers."
